Todos los idiomas tiene sus expresiones relacionadas con el amor y ¡el inglés también!, pero no siempre es fácil encontrar una expresión equivalente. Vamos a ver algunas…

I only have eyes for you. = you are the only person I am interested in.
Es algo como….Solo te veo a ti, no veo a nadie más.
Love is blind. = you don’t see the faults in the person you love.
El amor es ciego.
She has the hots for him. = she finds him physically attractive.
Es algo como….Le gusta.
She is the apple of her father’s eye. = Her father adores her.
Es algo como….A su padre se le cae la baba.
Have a crush on someone = You are infatuated with someone, but it’s not really love.

Be smitten with someone = you are completely in love

A blind date = when you date someone who you have never met

To break up = to stop a relationship

Get back together = to restart a relationship after you have broken up
